As future child advocates we empathize with the children and families who are struggling day in and day out due to the pandemic. We would like to provide information that is beneficial for those who may be unaware of the resources they can obtain. In addition, we would like to provide a clear lense at the reality children and families are facing during the pandemic.

Due to COVID-19 online learning has been implemented in order to stop the spread among children / educational staff members.

Online learning has been a struggle for both children and families:

-Affects behavior

-Affects mental stability and development

The impact of COVID-19 has created a significant socioemotional and financial stress for families across the country, which makes it difficult for children to solely focus on academics.
